A used Mercedes control unit may need to be virginised (also written “virginized”) – reset to a suitable initial state – before it can be adapted to another vehicle. We check your listed unit and agree the subsequent commissioning steps.
What happens after you send the form
- You receive a confirmation email with your reference number and a personal status link.
- We check your details and reply by email – if necessary with questions or a request for photos of the label.
- You ship the unit or bring the vehicle only after our explicit approval.
Photos that help
A sharp photo of the complete label, a view of the connector side and, if present, visible damage such as corrosion make the assessment much more reliable. We agree by email how to send the photos.
Shipping from your country
State your country and return postcode in your enquiry. Before shipment we agree feasibility, the work, outward and return shipping, costs and any applicable customs arrangements. Transport time is separate from workshop processing time. Wait for explicit shipping approval; do not send a unit based solely on this page.

We commission Mercedes ABS/ESP, airbag/SRS control units and SAM modules only with the vehicle at our workshop in Hardegsen-Gladebeck, Germany. Sending the unit alone is not sufficient. Please enquire before buying, removing or shipping a unit.
